Wood Carvings

Found two wood carved items in the center console of Jeni's car today.
The one that looks like an Owl has Buddy Overby's initials on it, the other one I am not sure about.

Was really missing you today and yesterday.

I took a walk around Silver Springs State Park.

Beach closed

This gator is sunning next to the beach here at the campground.
Guess this would not be a good time to beach your kayak.
Not really any other good choice to get out.
Gores Lansing is 7-9 miles more down stream.
The State Park is 6 miles back upstream.

 

Rodman Dam

Gary and I went for a driver through the Ocala National Forest out to Rodman Dam.

We saw a white tailed deer, an eagle, a scrub jay, and a roaster along the road out in the middle of nowhere.
